Competition Rules
By uploading your photos onto www.wildschoenau-foto.at you automatically accept the following conditions:

  • Winter Sports
  • Winter scenes
  • People in the snow
  • Typical Wildschönau

Participation
Participation is free of charge and possible exclusively online. Photos sent by post, slides or CDs cannot be accepted or returned.

Exclusion of photos
Offensive photos or photos from other holiday regions will not be accepted and automatically eliminated by the editor.

Photo Description
Each photo should be marked with the sender’s name and address and must have a title. A brief description of the location and the corresponding experience should also be added. For example;breakfast on the Farnkaseralm, Corpus Christi procession in Oberau,…

Photo Quality
Photos should have a minimum resolution of 5 Megapixel. The shot should be saved in a high quality in a JPG file. The technical quality is decisive for the Jury.

Judging
The photos will be judged by the public and a panel of expert judges. The best photos will be published on www.wildschoenau.com and in the local press.

The results of the online votes from www.wildschoenau-foto.at will be taken into consideration.The final decision however lies with the panel of judges.

The Panel
... is made up of local experts from the relevant occupational branches, tourism and photography etc.

Prizes
Gift coupons worth a total of € 1000. Prizes are non redeemable in cash.

Entry Deadline
All photos uploaded by 12th April 2012 take part. Employees of the Wildschönau Tourist Board are excluded from the competition. Legal proceedings are barred. There will be no correspondence in connection with this competition.

Private data protection
All personal details used to register for this competition are strictly confidential and will not be passed on to any third party. All competitors agree to the publication of their name and address in print and online media.

Copyright
All participants must guarantee that they hold the copyright for all photos uploaded and that no other rights are violated. In particular it is essential that images of persons are used only with the assent of that person and that they agree to the publication of their image.

In the case of any litigation due to the violation of any personal privacy laws the participant guarantees to indemnify the Wildschönau Tourist Board.

Usage Rights
By taking part in this photo competition the participant concedes all unlimited copyrights to the organisors , Wildschönau Tourist Board to be used freely for reporting and advertising purposes free of charge. The photographer will be named (if possible). This right is valid for all public relations and advertising by Wildschönau Tourist Board. Please note that it is not always possible to mention the photographer by name. Attention will be drawn to 'Photo Competition Participants' in the legal notes in the Wildschönau Hotel Brochure and on the homepage.
